What we do

Drainage services, wherever you're based

Why people call us back

No call centre, no chemical guesswork, no vague quotes.

Speak to the engineer

The person you call is the person who turns up — no call centre in between.

Cost discussed upfront

You'll know roughly what a job costs before we attend, not after.

The cause, not just the clearance

CCTV checks find why a drain keeps blocking, so you're not calling us back out.

Honest on who pays

We'll tell you straight if a blockage is the water company's responsibility, not ours.

Worth knowing

Not every blocked drain is yours to pay for.

Since October 2011, many previously private shared drains and sewers across England and Wales transferred to the local water company. If your blockage is on a transferred section, it isn't your bill to pay.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

1

Tell us what's happening

Call or WhatsApp and describe the symptoms — it helps us bring the right kit first time.

2

Cost discussed before we attend

You'll have a clear idea of price before any work starts, not a surprise afterwards.

3

Cleared, and explained

We clear the blockage and tell you what caused it, so you know if it's likely to come back.

Reviews

We're just getting started

Network Drains is a new local business — genuine customer reviews will appear here as jobs are completed. If you've used us recently, we'd really appreciate a review on Google.

Questions people ask before calling

Good to know

How much will it cost?

It depends on the job — a simple internal blockage costs less than an outside drain run needing jetting. We always talk you through the likely cost before attending, not after.

Is my blocked drain my responsibility, or the water company's?

It depends where the blockage is. In England and Wales, many shared drains transferred to the local water company in 2011 — we'll check and tell you honestly which applies. See our full guide.

How quickly can you get to me?

We prioritise genuine emergencies and give you a realistic timeframe on the phone rather than a vague promise.

Do you cover my area?

We're growing city by city — see our areas we cover page for exactly where, and if you're just outside it, call anyway.

My drain keeps blocking in the same place — why?

Usually root intrusion, a settled pipe, or grease build-up narrowing the pipe. A CCTV survey shows exactly which, rather than guessing.
